Please keep in mind that the stories published here are for entertainment purposes only. Remember, it's free to submit a story, but please follow the guidelines listed below. These guidelines are intended to keep the site friendly to everyone who wishes to participate, whether as an author or a reader. Published stories may be re-organized at any time, and most likely WILL be re-organized as the site grows. To submit a story:

Please include a little bit of general information about yourself, and include your location. A little bit of information about you and where you are from can go a long way to engage readers.

State whether your story is fact or fiction. A sentence or two to introduce your story may be helpful here.

Include a TITLE, as well as a NAME for the by line.

Write your story in upper and lower case, in sentences. Please DO NOT write in all caps or all lowercase. Spell out words; for example, use "your", not "ur".

Use a spell checker/grammar checker if at all possible.

Include your real name (first and last) and a working email address (that you check on a regular basis). Your real name can be published if you like. Your email address is never published and will NEVER be sold or given out in any way, shape, or form. If any person or organization requests your contact information, we will notify you and you can decide whether or not to make contact. Your privacy is very dear to us and will be protected at all junctures.

If you are an author, you may choose to publish your real or pen name if you like. If you have a website, we'll be happy to provide a link with your story if you'll be so kind as to link back to us.

Your story can be submitted as text in the email message or as an attachment. Plain Text format is preferred. Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) format is okay as long as the text can be copied and pasted, in other words, not a PDF touchup image. We don't care to rewrite your story. RTF (Rich Text Format) is also accepted. We cannot, however, guarantee compatibility when using the DOC (Microsoft Word Document) format. If using Microsoft Word, save in Rich Text or Plain Text format. (MAC USERS: BBEdit is okay, too!)

You may include up to five images with your story. Image files must be in JPG (preferred) or GIF format and must be no larger than 1MB (one megabyte). And please, no BMP or RAW files. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE BE SURE TO BLOCK OUT ANY LICENSE PLATE NUMBERS ON PHOTOGRAPHS. If you cannot do this, let us know, and we will be happy to do it for you.

Include the following originality statement at the end of each submission:
